The sun is shining
It's January and the sun is shining. That automaticly put me in a good mood. I feel inspirade too. I've been looking at promdresses, home decorations and tips, and I've been working on my movie.
I took the dogs out for a bit. Felt like I really needed some fresh air. And the weather was amazing. When I got back again I had chicken and noodles with some vegetables. Tasted sooo good! And for dessert, the rest of the home-made icecream. Can it get much better?
Well yea, because I don't feel perfect. I stayed home from school today. I'm sure I'll be better tomorrow.

We went shopping yesterday and I'm home from school today. But I just woke up and now I'm cooking, so haven't been able to update my blog.

Good morning
I'm going to the mall after school today, so I won't be able to update my blog. I've done way better this past week though, and I hope you guys things so to. I'm trying with pictures and at least 2 posts a day. Sometimes even more. But it's hard, because I don't have internet all the time, and I'm busy doing other things. Anyway, I'll keep trying.
I need to buy a new mascara and more pages for my scrapbook. I also need to start looking at prom-dresses. Can't wait for prom to come!! I'm so excited. I just need a date!!!

Hey guys,
Yesterday I went to a basketball game. Jess was playing and their team is so good. They're number 8 in the State, or was I don't know. They've only lost one game until yesterday. So, she was kind of upset when they didn't defeated Madison, which the whole team really wanted to.
After that, we went home and had some chicken n noodles. Mmm, that's good stuff right there!
Anyway, yesterday night I hung out with Sam. Some of his friends was there too, and we had a good time. Today I'll just chill here in the couch, watch a movie and maybe do some scrapbooking. I need to answer a bunch of e-mails to, and write something. Sometimes I'm very inspired to just write, I love writing sometimes (in Swedish). Today is one of those days. Although I hate to read, so my texts a normally not very good.

Leaving for a ballgame
Just had french toast for breakfast. I'll eat some chicken 'n' noodles before I leave (one of my favorite food over here) and then I'll be ready to go to a ballgame. Jess's team is playing basketball today at noon, so I decided I'll go and watch her. And I have to bring both my videocamera and camera she said. So I'll probably have a few things to show you guys later.

Stylistically pure
100 % right, oh yea! Soooo in style. My dream is to build a house where everything is so easy and stylistically pure. It will deffinitly be a combination between Apple and Bang & Olufsen, my two favorite brands when it comes to electronic as well as quality, performance and design. Boze is not far behind, but when it comes to windows computers and tecnology, android phones and so fourth, I don't care anymore.
This is perfection for me. Perfect style for electronic devices. This first picture is amazing. Love the stilleben. Notice the Mac underneith the speakers and the relaxed feeling the books and the cup of coffee automaticly brings into it. The bike and the artwork in the background is effectfull as well.
Date
I didn't have any time to blog today. But I just got home so I'm just gonna give you guys a quick update. It's almost 2 o'clock here now (yes, we got a little late... our curfue is 12). Feels so weird to be home this "late" (we got home at like 1), and that's really early back home in Sweden. Things can change so fast...
Here's the trailer of the movie we saw. If you have other stuff to do, don't even worry about waisting your time watching it... Haha! It was soo långtråkig (can't think of a good english word, it's like worse than boring). Gah, I'm so mean but I really could fall asleep right there at the cinema.
Anyway, tonight we went to the boys game in Lauwrensburg and then me and Jess went on a dubble date with the guy she's dating and his friend. We just went to the movies and saw "The Grey". I'm telling you, DON'T EVER watch it. It was baaad. So bad that I almost fell asleep. Good first date, right?
I had a fun time even though the movie wasn't the best of all.
Well I'll try to make another post in the morning tomorrow. But we'll be leaving for another basketball-game at noon (Jess's playing). If I don't, you know where I'm at. Me and Megan just got our nails done. I got blue with sparkels, and she got pink with sparkles. I like it!! Our day sucked tho. Everything we did went wrong. One of my nails are too shorts. One of her nails miss some sparkles. I didn't find pages for my scrapbook at walmart. We stood in a line that took forever, and then we couldn't be in that one cause we had a flashdrive which needed another desk or something. And my flashdrive was suppose to be blue (already had a pink) and they didn't have it. Then all the cars were driving in like 20... not even kidding. And the cookies at subway were overbaked.... Haha!
Well, now it's time to eat. Pasta and meatsause. Mmmmmmmm!!!!
Excited for prom
I'm so excited for prom. Can't wait to go dress shopping, buy shoes, fix my nails, pick out make-up, look at hairstyles, tann... you name it!!! I know exactly what I want my dress to look like. Now I just have to find it.

Hej Linnéa, fint namn. Min värdfamilj betalar all mat. De är riktigt snälla och även när vi går ut och äter (när mina värdföräldrar är med) så betalar de alltid. Jag säger varje gång vi äter "jag kan betala", men de säger att det är lugnt. Mina föräldrar (riktiga föräldrar) ger mig pengar varje månad. Jag har ett kort där de sätter in det. Jag pratar helst inte om exakt hur mycket och allt sånt. Men mina föräldrar betalar kläder och allt sånt övrigt. När det är större avgifter att betala (skolböcker och annat) får jag mer pengar. Så vi håller kontakten helt enkelt.

Todays outfit
I really dont have anything to write about. But today in school, I didn't do anything. And last period, I skyped with my parents. It was fun as always, exept for that it was a little bit embarassing when dad walkes around in the house showing everyone what it looks like. Of course it was my friends idea, but still...lil bit awkward.
We just had cooked cabbage for supper. OMG! That's the best ever. I literaly had like 5 portions..not even kidding. And then, whenever everyone was done I ate the rest of it. Yes, I'm full now!! And Robin is making cupcakes with chokolate inside of them.... Not today!!! Haha I'm so full and I already had cake today. Well, well....

I'm home right now enjoying some vegetables and beans cooked without all that butter. Mmm! I'm having knäckebröd and deer-sausage too. It's amazing! And omg, I love knäckebröd. I've found a place here in the States where I can buy it so I'm really happy!! My sister loves it too by the way. She's as addicted as I am.

Yesterday, I worked out with Jess. And guess what? I'm so sore today, it's not even funny. I thought I'd work out today to, but I didn't. Robin just got home and she's got a tooth pulled out. Uh, but she's alright, she said it didn't hurt too bad.

åh hittade din blogg förra veckan tror jag och jag blev insperead direkt. min dröm är verkligen att flytta till USA och göra precis som dig.. gå i high school där, men mina föräldrar vägrar släppa iväg mig förrän jag är 19 år. vart är det du är i USA och är det liksom mycket våld, droger osv... och sånt där som mina föräldrar påstår att det är ! Dina föräldrar har delvis rätt, det finns en del negativa saker så som droger. Håller inte med om våld, även om vapen och sånt är väldigt lätt att få tag i. Men samtidigt ska väl inte dessa få negativa sakerna förhindra en dröm att bli verklig?
Detta året är fantastiskt. En otrolig erfarenhet. Större än vad jag själv än kunde tänka mig. Kommer uppskatta så mycket fler saker i Sverige nu, och inse hur bra land vi faktiskt bor i. Hela mitt liv kommer jag kunna referera till detta året, för att få olika perspektiv. Sen har jag minnen och vänner för hela livet. Kontakter när det behövs osv. Helt underbart!
Jag tycker att du och dina föräldrar ska prata igenom detta ordentligt, och även kanske ringa till någon organisation som sysslar med utbytesstudenter (EF, STS, Explorer mm, själv reste jag med EF).

Fun
Hey everyone,
I know my brother is celebrating his birthday today with all of our relatives. They wanted me to skype with them, so I'm trying to get a hold of them.
Yesterday I went riding. That was fun. And after I came home I was freezing and decided to stay home and finish my little surprise. It's almost done now, I just need some more people to help me make it 100 % done. I'll probably get it completed before this weekend is over.

I totaly forgot about my blog this weekend, so sorry about that. I've been busy hanging with friends, scrapbooking, shopping and playing family fued. When I get back to Sweden and get an iPhone again, that's deffinitly the first app I'm gonna download.
I didn't go to Indianapolis by the way. But Jess did good, they took 2nd place in the whole competition.
Yesterday my grandma had her birthday! She's now cool again.. I heard she got an iPhone. Haha! I don't know, what did she get from us Mom and Dad? Happy birthday grandma!!!
As I mentioned in another post a week ago or so, there will be a surprise for everyone that has their birthdays in January. My goal is to finish it this month, but I need cords for my device so to speak. Haha, I don't want to tell you too much, because then it won't be a surprise anymore. But hold on to it, I haven't forgot you.
Also, I have enough candy now (this is just the chocolate part). But still, I love getting mail so please send more of something else. Or just send a letter, that's fun too. Keep me updated about your guys's life.

This weekend
I'll probably go to Indianapolis and stay the night this weekend. Jess's got a vollyball game there in the morning, so we're leaving from here tomorrow afternoon.
Today I'm probably going to a ballgame to. A lot of ballgames now adays, but it's freezing here right now so I don't really feel like being outside doing something or so.
I'll talk to you whenever I get internet again. I gotta go now, because I'm hungry and want to eat.
I've discovered the best icecream ever now btw. It's chocolate chip cookies and vanillia ice-cream in between the two of them cookies. Mmmmmmm!!

Jag är 16 och skall till USA för ett high schiool year till hösten. Jag fick tipset av en kompis att spana in din blogg. Den är ju bara så bra. Men jag börjar bli lite nervös redan, ett helt år liksom.
Jag har några frågor:
Längtar man hem mycket? Saknar man föräldrarna? Har man kvar kontakten med kompisarna hemma? Har eller hade du nån kille i Sverige, i så fall hur går det att vara borta från honom?
Jag är nog mest rädd för att få hemlängtan.

Som vanligt jätterolig med sånna här kommentarer. Denna veckan har jag varit så oinspirerad på att blogga, även om jag försöker att göra minst ett inlägg per dag. Normalt snittar jag högre. Men men, tack så mycket. Redan lite ny inspiration.
Först av allt, GUUD VA KUL! Jätteroligt att du har bestämt dit för att åka!! Ska jag vara helt ärligt var jag inte allt nervös när jag åkte. Detta året har varit en dröm så långt tillbaka i tiden jag kan tänka. Jag har liksom alltid velat göra detta. Dock tyckte jag att jag var helkass på engelska när jag åkte, men samtidigt visste jag att de åtminstonde skulle förstå mig när jag pratade. Löjligt nog började jag faktiskt prata lite engelska med mamma och pappa innan jag åkte, för att se att jag inte var helt ute och cyklade liksom... Japp, skratta på haha!
1 år är en lång tid, men om du tänker efter på vad som händer hemma på ett år är det inte speciellt mycket. Det gamla vanliga, dagarna ser likadana ut, vännerna är samma, även om du kanske får fler osv. Du fattar grejen. Så på den fronten behöver du inte vara rädd att liksom missa något.
Jag ställde in mig själv på att det är 1 år som gäller. Jag är väldigt envis (ibland lite för envis) så jag tvekade inte på att jag skulle klara det, men vad händer om jag verkligen inte trivs? Jo, jag får byta ställe. Mina familj har alltid stöttat mig så mycket i allt jag har gjort, och även i detta ämnet klargjorde dem att vad som än händer kan jag alltid ta stöd hemifrån. Vill jag flytta är det bara att säga till så fixar dem resten. Vill jag hem, säger jag till. Vill jag att de ska komma över, säger jag till. Det var en väldig trygghet.
Hemlängtan måste jag säga att jag inte har haft så mycket. Däremot var det en annan utbytesstudent som bodde i samma familj i början, men hon längtade hem en del osv så hon åkte faktiskt hem efter halva året, dvs i julas.
Mina föräldrar kom och hälsade på mig i jul, och när de åkte hem igen kändes det nästan som att jag ville åka med. Men när de åkte och allt gick tillbaka till normalt igen så kändes det bra. Nu går mitt år mot slutet. Jag har fortfarande månader kvar, men mer än hälften är gjort. Känns ganska tråkigt!
Jag har inte jättemycket kontakt med mina svenska kompisar. Jag pratar lite då och då med de närmsta, men när jag kommer hem igen är jag säker på att de finns där för mig och allt kommer vara precis som det var när jag åkte. Det är liksom lite svårt att leva två liv. För i USA lever du ett helt nytt liv, det är som en ny start. Och att samtidigt hålla fast vid det gamla livet som är som pausat undet ett år är svårt alltså...
Jag hade ingen pojkvän, men jag antar att det är ungefär lika svårt att lämna honom som att lämna vänner och familj. Vad som är annorlunda här är dock hur man dejtar och relationen mellan tjej och kille. Många familjer låter inte en tjej och kille vara ensamma i samma rum, även om de är tillsammans. Detta är extremt störande enligt mig, men men, det är bara att acceptera det.
Min första familj var kristen och jag fick gå till kyrkan med dem. Men på grund av att min förra värdmammas pappa dog, och min värdmamma och värdpappa separerade vad jag tvungen att flytta och det positiva med detta är att jag fick faktiskt en extremt bra familj (med en värdsyster i samma skola, och i min ålder), plus att jag inte behövde gå till kyrkan. Det hade jag förmodligen inte orkat hela året då jag själv inte är kristen.

Yesterday, I said to myself, "I'll only watch one eposide". So I watched one, but then I couldn't sleep, so I watched another one. And in the end of that one, someone was drowning, and I couldn't see if she survived or not. So I had to watch another episode, which happened to be the last on of that seson. And guess what, everone was so happy, all the problems got solved and everything. But when it was 5 seconds left, 2 people, maincharacters got SHOT!!!!!!! That is not an OK ending....... But I couldn't open seson 8 right away.
I've had my timeperiods in this serie. I always watch it as crazy, and then nothing. So, this was probably one year ago, when I watched seson 2, 3 and 4 in probably a week or so.
Random stuff
I bought an album today and it's gonna be soooo sweet when it's done. It's my senior-album/USA album. I gonna fix every page individually and it will take forever. But in the end, I'm not gonna regret it, and it will be a nice memory to keep all my life. Plus, Robin just made cookies so it's not that bad. Yes, I'm doing it right now. I'm pretty tired of looking at all the pictures from here, and pick the ones I want to print. But, I'll give myself a break here in a bit.

Nice iPhone case
Saw this iPhone case att Lisa Place's blog. Like it, so I'll share it with you guys. Before I moved, my blog included a lot of inspiration and stuff. But now, it's more about my life here, and pictures from the States. I think that is interesting, but I kind of miss looking for inspiration and stuff. But, whenever I go back (if I'll still blog then), I'll continue "today's outfit" and inspiration.

Min fråga till dig är hur stort måttet på denna kan vara ungefär eftersom jag hade tänkt ha den på universitet så måste ju pärmar och A4 block få plats i denna. Står inte några mått på Åhlens hemsida, lite dåligt. Hoppas du kan svara.

Svar: Du får inte plats pärmar. Inte ens i närheten, tyvärr. Jag skulle vilja säga att du får plats med 8 x 10 inches pärmar och papper, hur många centimeter det nu är. Har kommit in lite i detta engelska systemet, haha. Men inga A4 pärmar får inte plats. Tyvärr, för det är en fin väska.

Got my nails done
Just came home from getting my nailsdone. They're fakenails but they feel really good. I might put some "dimonds" on them after a week or so, because they say it will last like 2-4 weeks.

Först tänkte jag bara säga att din blogg är jättebra, man blir ju lite sugen att åka ner till USA om några år om man säger så! :D
Undrar bara va du gick för linje i Sverige? Går du samma linje i USA? Eller har dom enns olika linjer här? Haha! :)
Svar: Hej! Va roligt att hora. Den ar meningen att bade inspirera och informera. Jag kan verkligen rekomendera att gora detta. Spendera i alla fall ett ar utomlands. Halva tiden har redan gott, det kanns som att det har gatt sa fort, och det ar bara ca 5 manader kvar. Snart, okej, inte forran om ett tag, men lat oss saga snart sa kommer det bli dags att borja planera hemresa. Plannera sommaren, vad jag ska kopa med mig hem (vilket kommer bli ett ordentligt lass) och massa massa mer. Hur sjutton jag ska fa plats med alla saker. Jag kom med tva fullpackade resvaskor (forstar inte hur folk kan resa med en..det ar liksom ett helt ar), och nar min familj var over nu runt jul och nyar fick de med sig i princip en resvaska av saker hem. Skont kandes det, for tillfallet, men sen packade jag upp allt jag shoppade nar de var over, och alla mina lador och garderober blev fullproppade igen. Dock har jag ett valdigt litet utrymme for klader (jamfort med jag ar van vid da jag har en hel vagg som ar en garderob med skjutdorrar).
I alla fall, vill inte traka ut dig nu, utan ska istallet forsoka svara pa hur skolorna funkar. Detta kan bli invacklat, men jag forsoker.
I Sverige gick jag natur. Jag hann bara med ett ar innan jag akte och maste erkanna att jag la ner mycket tid pa skolarbete. Jag kampade ganska mycket for att fa bra betyg osv, samtidigt som jag tyckte det var svart (vissa amnen). Just nu ar jag lite nervos for att fortsatta natur. Mest av allt for matten, och for alla NO amnena, vilket bada dessa ar vad natur ar i princip. Samtidigt kanns det som att jag vill ga natur... Eller jag vill ga natur, for utbildningen ar extremt bred och bra.
USA daremot har inga linjer i High School (gymnasiet), utan man gor sitt eget schema. Beroende pa vilket collage (hogskola) man vill in pa, ar vissa klasser/amnen ett krav. Jag daremot, behover inte tanka pa det. Det enda jag behover ha ar Histoia och Engelska (krav fran EF), resten kan jag valja sjalv.
Varje dag ser exakt likadan ut (japp, trakigt, enformigt). Vi har 7 lektioner, med 4 minuters raster mellan dem, varje dag i exakt samma ordning och allt. Lunchen ar la 30 minuter eller nagot sant, och varje lektion ca 1 timme. Sa vi borjar 8/00, har lektion till 9.04, nasta lektion borjar 9.08, haller pa till 9.57, nasta borjar 10.01, ni fattar..
Mitt schema forra terminen var engelska, historia, journalism, kor (chior om ni inte fattar haha, tva prickar over o), sen lunch. Darefter var det Digital Design, matte och sista study hall. Valdigt simpelt och gott. Fick for ovrigt alla A (fick slutbetygen i gar).
Sa skolan har ar inte alls lika svar. Proven ar flervalsalternativ (vilket dock ar svart pa Amerikans Historia), men det gick bra enda. Herregud va manga lektioner jag inte lyssnade/somnade dock. Ojojoj....
Till sist, jag kan inte anvanda detta aret som ett ar i Sverige. Dvs, jag maste fortsatta dar jag slutade, alltsa borja 2:an nar jag kommer tillbaka, och ga med arskursen yngre (95 :orna).

Plans
I have Digital Design right now, so I can't write a whole lot.
Anyway, I'm out of History, and I have art instead. Had the first class of it today and it was going good. I've also started to write down vocab words that is neccessary to know. Yesterday I wrote down about 10, and today another 10. Now I just have to translate them and then study them.
Tomorrow, I'm going to get my nails done again. My other's is starting to come of. I liked this color tho, but I'm getting fakenails this time. I kind of wanna wait, but I'm still excited to get them perfect.
Well, I gotta go now. I have pictures back home to show you, and I will, maybe. Because I might go to the basketball game tonight.

Fånga dagen
Seize the day, capture the day, live for the moment, whatever you wanna call it, it's true. It's important, and true. One day, my room is gonna be filled with wonderful quotes like this one. They'll not only help me remember what's important in life, but move me forward at the same time as they look good as a design.

I'm back to school. Feels bad! I don't wanna get up in the mornings again. But I'm gonna get out of History, and maybe choir, and take more fun classes. I'll see if I can do that at 1 o'clock today, and I'll tell u all later.
Other than that, I don't have anything to say. I can give you some more pictures later today if I'm not too tired.

New Years Eve
Back to "normal" again
I had a good break from school. My family is definitely amazing and I love them with all my heart. We spent both Christmas and New Years together, and today the left.
I bought so many things. I don't even remember everything, and I don't know where to put it all. I cleaned my whole room today and put all my clothes in drawers and shelfs. Finally everything is hidden/away but I'm sure I'll forget to use some of the stuff. I might show you some pictures of what I got one day, but I'm not sure. That will take a lot of time...
Tonight I'm just gonna continuing watching one tree hill (bought that tv-show too) and fall asleep while watching it. Sounds amazing? I know right!
Tonights thought goes to my family. They have a horrible trip in front of them. Not only one, but two flights (I had three though, by my own), a drive from here to Chicago and then from their final destination to our house in Sweden. I know it will take forever, but tomorrow (in the afternoon our time) they'll be home.
